A turret is a weapon for airships. There are 2 broad types of turrets, machine gun and artillery turrets. Both use different ammunition, can be constructed from various metal and are further subdivided into specific turret types. The metal a turret is made of determines the durability and mass, damage and rate of fire are set by the type of turret. An underpowered turret will fire slower the less power it gets. The impact attribute adds armor piercing to the rounds. The bullet will travel through the first block it hits, doing 50% of its damage to that block and 50% to whatever it hits next.
A note: There is a shop in Walstrome that sells ship parts. It is located near the docks and sells nearly all of the Artillery and Machine Gun turrets, as well as propellers, engines, and balloons.

Turrets can be made out of eight different materials. All turret types can be made of all turret materials.

Tentatively, it appears that the Quality/Master bonuses are applied to the damage done. As mentioned above, a turret with insufficient power has a proportionately lower rate of fire.
